Technology & innovation
Better information.
More responsive treatment.
Appropriate online monitoring helps plant operators respond to changing raw-water quality and treatment conditions.
Coagulation control
See changes in particle charge. Make more informed dosing decisions.
A key area of focus is the use of advanced online technologies, including zeta-potential and related particle-charge monitoring systems, to improve chemical dosing and coagulation control.
Continuous process information can help operators respond to changing conditions alongside established laboratory checks and operating knowledge. The objective is stronger treatment performance and less unnecessary chemical use.
Our approach
Technology selected for its operational value.
New monitoring equipment should address a clear plant requirement and offer benefits that justify the investment.
Measure what matters
Monitor relevant parameters such as turbidity, pH, alkalinity, conductivity, chlorine and particle charge.
Match the plant
Choose technology for the water source, treatment process and operational environment.
Support the operator
Connect process data to dosing control, practical reporting and informed operating decisions.
Future initiative
Chlorine production & regional supply
Exploring the potential of Namibian salt resources.
Savanah intends to investigate the production of chlorine-based disinfectants from Namibia’s locally available, high-quality salt resources for drinking-water treatment and other water-related applications.
Developing local production capacity could improve security of supply, reduce dependence on imported chemicals and support local industrial development and future regional distribution.
This is an initiative for investigation. Any development will be pursued in accordance with the required technical, environmental, health, safety and regulatory standards.
