Ehrenfried Uazuvara Honga
Ehrenfried Uazuvara Honga is a Namibian chemical engineer and water-treatment specialist with more than 25 years of experience in water quality, treatment-process engineering, utility management and major infrastructure delivery.
During his career at the Namibia Water Corporation, he has served as Water Treatment Specialist, Manager and Senior Manager of Water Quality and Environment Services, Head of Applied Scientific Services, and Project Manager for African Development Bank-funded water projects.
His expertise centres on water-treatment plant auditing, process optimisation and performance improvement. He assesses complete treatment trains, from abstraction, coagulation and flocculation through clarification, filtration, disinfection and residuals management. His audits examine plant data, unit-process capacity, operating practices, instrumentation, chemical and energy use, staffing and the unit cost of water production.
His infrastructure experience includes planning, procurement, design review, construction and commissioning. Contributions include the Noordoewer Water Works, the Eenhana defluoridation plant, and the Oshakati and Rundu purification plant extension programmes. He combines chemical-engineering analysis with multidisciplinary leadership and a practical focus on reliable, cost-effective water services.
Ehrenfried has published technical work in desalination, water quality and engineering. His professional experience also includes serving on Namibia’s Public Procurement Review Panel.

Nyasha Patrick Chapepa
Nyasha Patrick Chapepa is a civil engineer with 31 years of experience in water supply, wastewater, sanitation, solid-waste management and infrastructure design across Botswana and Zimbabwe.
His professional background includes project management, construction supervision, design leadership and contract administration on major national infrastructure projects. This includes World Bank-funded schemes and multi-million-pula water-transfer systems.
His experience brings together engineering design and the practical demands of delivering complex infrastructure. Additional training covers commercial and contract law, World Bank contract management and PRINCE2 project management.

Glaister Welsh
Glaister Welsh combines a chemical-engineering background with experience in operational leadership, entrepreneurship and investment management. He is the founder and CEO of Calabash Capital Partners LP, a boutique investment firm focused on long-term wealth creation.
He graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Howard University. Early work in biochemical remediation and operational leadership roles at GE, Avery Dennison, GEICO and Kaiser Permanente developed his focus on process, risk control and data-driven decision-making.
Glaister applies that engineering mindset to capital allocation. Calabash’s investment approach combines behavioural finance, quantitative analysis and long-term business ownership to develop portfolios aligned with clients’ financial objectives.
He is also the founder of Nature Isle Tropical Gourmet LLC, a food venture that reached more than 250 specialty retailers across North America, and Calabash Asset Management LLC. His business experience reflects an interest in enterprise, culture and community development.
Glaister’s published work spans environmental science and investment strategies. He holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is a certified project manager. He also supports financial literacy and youth development through mentoring, educational conversations and community initiatives.
