Exploring the potential of Namibian salt resources.

Savanah intends to investigate the production of chlorine-based disinfectants from Namibia’s locally available, high-quality salt resources for drinking-water treatment and other water-related applications.

Developing local production capacity could improve security of supply, reduce dependence on imported chemicals and support local industrial development and future regional distribution.

This is an initiative for investigation. Any development will be pursued in accordance with the required technical, environmental, health, safety and regulatory standards.
